Register by Invitation
Ariba buyers who want to conduct business electronically with their suppliers may invite, or sponsor, their suppliers to join the Ariba Network. Invitations are usually sent to you by email and contain a link to the Network. When you respond to the invitation and register, the buyer is responsible for reviewing your registration and activating your account. You are notified through email when your supplier account becomes active.
Register by Walkup
If you are a new supplier without a sponsor, you are provided with an Ariba Network preview account to help you understand how to conduct business through the Network. Upon completing registration, you can enter detailed profile information, view online documentation, and load public CIF or cXML catalogs. Please note that when you register by walkup, your business is not yet associated with a buying organization, and without a sponsoring buyer, your account can't be activated for order processing. Once a customer establishes a buying relationship with you as a supplier on the Network, your account is activated, and you can begin to receive and transmit documents.
