Over the past decade, the way the procurement function is managed has changed significantly within many enterprises. In Q4 2009, Aberdeen evaluated finance and procurement professionals to determine the view that finance leadership within the average enterprise now has of its procurement function. They looked at the relationship of the CFO and CPO through the eyes of the professionals who work for them.

Aberdeen was able to distinguish best-in-class enterprises by two key performance criteria, and report that these enterprises reflected an average of 73% more identified savings in their budgets and an average of 23.6% lower department operating costs.

Read this report to find out what those criteria are, and how your organization compares.
